Analyses the characteristics of industrial waste heat source and the problems existing in its application to city central heating. Describes the industrial waste heat source and the heat extraction process by means of Q/T-T diagram. Discusses the heat quality loss during the industrial waste heat extraction process with an entransy analysis method. Puts forward the optimal methods of heat step utilization, tandem flow matching and parallel temperature matching. Actual cases show that the optimal method is practicable.
